These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of pocketofjoy.in (the "Site"), operated by Anushree Gupta (sole proprietor), trading as Pocket of Joy, SGD/200G, Block-D, Shyam Nagar, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh 208013, India ("Pocket of Joy", "we", "us"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy and Payment Policy.
1. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. You agree to give accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. We verify email addresses and phone numbers with one-time codes.
2. Products and pricing
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
- We show products as accurately as we can. Handmade, natural and hamper items can vary slightly in colour, size or contents from the photos. Where an item in a hamper is unavailable, we may replace it with one of equal or higher value.
- If a product is listed at a clearly wrong price because of an error, we may cancel the order and refund any amount paid in full.
3. Orders
An order is a request to buy. It is accepted when we confirm it. For UPI orders, this happens once we have verified your payment. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund of any amount paid, if a product is out of stock, the pincode is not serviceable, the payment cannot be verified, or we suspect fraud or misuse.
4. Payment
We accept UPI payments, which are verified manually using your UPI transaction ID (UTR) or payment screenshot, and Cash on Delivery on eligible orders. Each UTR can be used for one order only. See our Payment Policy for details.
5. Offers, coupons and vouchers
Coupon codes, offers and gift vouchers carry their own validity dates and conditions. They cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be combined unless stated, and may be withdrawn if misused. If you return an order, any discount applied to it is adjusted in the refund.
6. Delivery, returns and cancellations
Delivery is covered by our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Returns, refunds and cancellations are covered by our Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site. This includes placing fake orders, using someone else's payment proof or UTR, trying to break into accounts or systems, scraping the Site, or posting unlawful or offensive content in gift notes, reviews or forms. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Pocket of Joy name, logo, designs, text, photos and other content on the Site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use them commercially without our written consent.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. We are also not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, strikes, courier disruptions or government action. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue (see our Grievance Redressal policy). Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kanpur, India.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes apply to orders placed after the update is published on this page.
